Step 1: Prepare the Filling
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef (or chicken) and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in the diced onion, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.

- Lay a flour tortilla flat and add a generous portion of the filling mixture in the center.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the filling.
- Roll the tortilla tightly, folding in the sides as you go, and place it seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
- Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
Step 4: Add Sauce and Bake
- Pour the warm sauce evenly over the burritos.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 5: Garnish and Serve
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Garnish with sour cream, chopped cilantro, diced tomatoes, and green onions.
