  • 1 cup (240ml) boiling water

For the Frosting:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2/3 cup (55g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 cups (360g) powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
