Ingredients:
- 2-3 pieces tulingan (mackerel) fish, cleaned and cut into steaks
- 1 can (400 ml) coconut milk
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, sliced
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1-2 long green chili peppers (siling pang-sigang) or chili flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup water or fish stock
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce (or to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup chopped malunggay leaves (moringa) or spinach (optional)
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
