Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat & Prep – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
2️⃣ Mix the Batter – In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add in the egg, milk, and oil (or melted butter). Stir until smooth.
3️⃣ Layer & Swirl – Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the swirl. Sprinkle half of this mixture over the batter. Pour in the remaining batter, then sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mix on top. Use a knife to gently swirl it through the batter.
4️⃣ Bake to Perfection – Place in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
5️⃣ Cool & Enjoy – Let the bread cool for 10 minutes before slicing (if you can wait that long!). Serve warm with butter or enjoy as is.
